The Music Ministry of Guilford Baptist Church is committed to Exalting the Savior and lifting up its highest praise to the throne. There are approximately 770 references to music in the bible. This number does not take into account all of the verses contained in the book of Psalms, the Song of Solomon and Lamentations although all of these books are generally agreed on to be complete songs in themselves. Music at Guilford is powerful and anointed, where the saints of God gather in one accord to usher in His presence.

Von and Teresa Hohn came to Guilford in 2006. Their call to the ministry came many years ago, and God has blessed and anointed their God given talents. Over the past 26 years they have been used by God to witness and testify of their love for the Lord, and to reach lost souls for Christ. Von and Teresa are excited at what God is doing at Guilford. The almighty power of God is moving and there is an atmosphere of Thanksgiving and Praise!

It is my prayer that you will take advantage of the opportunities we offer for all ages.The Music Department also provides a Pre-School Choir, K-6 grade Choir, and a Youth Choir.The Guilford Baptist Adult Sanctuary Choir sings at our Sunday morning service and most Sunday evenings and special events. Christmas and Easter are always meaningful with all the choirs being involved in Musical Pageantry. God has called many gifted and faithful members to be a part of this vital ministry. Choir rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 - 8:30 pm in the Choir Room. There is also an alternate choir rehearsal time from 5:00 - 6:00 pm on Sunday's for those who cannot come on Wednesday's.

We offer this exciting ministry to members of Guilford and non-members of any race, who just enjoy singing God's praise! My wife Teresa and I would love to have you join us and extend this warm invitation to all. Come expecting God to move to be blessed!
