Worship and health precautions

As we anticipate with thanksgiving and joy meeting together this Sunday for worship, we want to update you and reinforce our guidelines. Please note that these guidelines are based on several sources: CDC, NC Department of Health and Human Services, Dr. Ohl (epidemiologist at Wake Forest Baptist Health and NC. Baptist.org. Involved in this process are: Dr. Huneycutt, Jerry Kilpatrick, Barbara Lewis, Susan Carter, Steve Boon, Dan Skidmore, Jack Jackson, Sheila Tollison, Bruce Hutchins and Spencer Wilson.

IMPORTANT: If you consider yourself “at risk” and are not ready to gather publicly, please use your best judgement and know that it is OK to wait longer to join us. We will continue to record the Sermon, Wednesday devotional, and still be having our “call in” conference for Wednesday prayer service.

Entry: Two: Front entrance and side handicapped entrance. All other doors will be locked

Greeting: We will have 2 or 3 people at each door to assist you.

A mask will be required. If you do not have your own, we will have masks available

Hand sanitizer will be available for use before entering and leaving

Social distancing: We do ask that you allow 6 feet distance as you enter and leave. No matter how much we want to hug each other (we are known for our hugs) please try to avoid at least for the present

Offering: There will be an offering plate stationed at each entrance. We will not be passing the offering plates. The same will apply when we participate in the Lord’s Supper.

Seating: Please notice the barriers on some of the pews. Families please sit together. Others please maintain the 6 feet distancing. Children please sit with your family.

Music: We will be blessed with music by Dan, Margaret and Jimmy but we will not be singing or using the hymnals.

Bathrooms: the two behind the sanctuary in front of the nursery will be available

Parents: If you need to leave the service for any reason with your child, there will be a clean room in the nursery for that purpose.

Thank You!

We look forward to seeing you Sunday!
